Jana Žáčková

A graduate of the Department of Theater Theory and History at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University; a drama therapist, peer consultant, and accredited instructor with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. Since February 2026, she has served as director of the public benefit corporation Kunštát PRO FUTURO, which for two decades has been promoting the integration of cultural activities, Art Brut, and therapeutic and community-based approaches in Brno.

She is developing the UMAJA (Art of the Authentic Self) concept, which combines improvisation, art therapy, and Rogers' principle of unconditional acceptance. A graduate of the "Possibilities of Dialogue" training program (2023/2024)—her final project, "Together in Dialogue," focused on the intersection of art therapies and collaborative dialogic practices. She works as a facilitator in the field of social services transformation and as a NUDZ instructor. She co-founded the EDUPEER, z.s. platform, which focuses on education directly from experts by experience and bridges new insights from theory to practice and vice versa.

She draws on years of experience in peer consultation and peer education—four years at the Práh South Moravia Recovery Center and three years as a facilitator for the peer working group of the Association of Community Services. She speaks at conferences on the reform of psychiatric care and social services. She is the founder of the theater troupe Hořká jehla, which explores themes of (in)voluntary exclusion. She is the author of the poetry collection *Trojhránky jedinečnosti* (Revue DNO, 2025) and is currently working on a collection titled *Přítomnosti, věci nerozvité*. She is a destigmatization ambassador for NA ROVINU.

In her free time, she writes lyrics for the band ZORA. She is involved in music video production, directing, and teaching.
