International conference ART BRUT BRNO
The ART BRUT BRNO International Conference will take place on September 17 and 18, 2026, at several venues in Brno—at the Za sklem space on Náměstí 28. října, at the exhibition space on Jánská 6 (Česká spořitelna), and at Penzion Zahrada. This year's edition is themed "Transformation" and, for the first time, will be held over two days with two separate professional sessions: the first day is dedicated to ART BRUT, and the second day to art therapy and therapeutic approaches in the helping professions.
The conference is held under the patronage of Brno Mayor Ing. Markéta Vaňková. The City of Brno is a co-organizer of the conference.
The sixth annual edition features several new additions.
The program also includes the opening of three inclusive art studios in Brno—Atelier KreAt, Atelier ATRIUM, and Open Art Studio—which will be kicked off by musician and art brut collector Martin Kyšperský.

The conference builds on a five-year tradition while also paving the way for a prestigious international conference Evropské asociace Outsider Art, which Brno will host in 2027. The day before the conference, on September 16, the ART Cinema will host the ART BRUT FILM BRNO film screening to mark the 125th anniversary of Jean Dubuffet's birth.
